Quarterly Non-Profit Donation - Kids First

This quarter, CBB donated $750 to Kids First Law Center, a non-profit in Cedar Rapids that gives children a voice in divorce, custody, and other conflicts by providing focused legal representation and services for kids.

The overall goals for Kids First are to create stability for children, lessen the effect of conflict on kids, connect families to support systems and needed resources, and make children’s voices heard. They focus issues such as Child Representation in high conflict divorce and custody cases, Joint Parenting Sessions where a professional facilitator guides conversations between partners and Divorce Workshops for Kids that help them understand and cope with the separation and divorce.
